This important little work was first published in 1889, the collection of fragments is titled "The Voice of the Silence and other Chosen Fragments from the Book of Golden Precepts for Daily use of Lanoos (Disciples)". The Book of Golden Precepts outlines two paths of spiritual enlightenment.
There is no publication year, however, the swirled cloth pattern was used as early as the 1920s and the two advertisement pages in the back suggest this book may be from this period. This would also fall in line with the branch of the Yogi Publication Society which was active during this time.
Condition: Original hunter green cloth with swirling patter, gilt to spine and front board along with philosophic emblem of a sun within an encircled triangle, all pages are clean, binding tight, Fine condition. Scarce in this binding
