Hall, with over fifty listings including rare works, signed copies, early pamphlets, and later publications. I first began issuing online catalogues dedicated to Manly P. Hall back in 2019, and it seems appropriate that our thirty-third catalogue should be devoted to Hall during the month marking the 125th anniversary of his birth.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAmong the highlights I have included\u003cb\u003e two 1928 editions of his monumental \u003c\/b\u003e\u003cb\u003e\u003ci\u003eThe Secret Teachings of All Ages\u003c\/i\u003e\u003c\/b\u003e, including a signed Theosophical Edition that was limited to only 200 copies and another \u003cb\u003eKing Solomon Edition which is perhaps the cleanest copy we have ever handled among the dozens we have catalogued over the years.\u003cspan class=\"Apple-converted-space\"\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/b\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe highlight of the release is what is often regarded as something of a “grail” among Manly P. Hall collectors: a true first \u003cb\u003eSigned Student Edition of \u003c\/b\u003e\u003cb\u003e\u003ci\u003eThe Lost Keys of Masonry\u003c\/i\u003e\u003c\/b\u003e. The inscription is dated on Hall’s 22nd birthday, the same month the work was issued, giving this copy a particularly unique and desirable point of interest.\u003cspan class=\"Apple-converted-space\"\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis is one of the very few works by Hall that is truly deserving of the title “rare.”\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe last signed copy that appeared on the market auctioned for over $10,000 in September of 2024.\u003cspan class=\"Apple-converted-space\"\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThere are several other works that belong to the small group of early writings that circulated primarily among his students before the founding of the Philosophical Research Society (PRS), during a period when Hall maintained a much stricter system of distributing his writings. The beginning of each chapter is adorned with dual-colored, specially cut Italian illuminated initials from the Renaissance period. The color plates on the 1928 editions were never reproduced with the same craftsmanship; each illustration was produced in full process colors; red, yellow, blue, and black. Some plates required special order colors, including gold and silver. The Heraldic Arms of Jesus Christ required eight colors to reproduce.
