This is the preferred and significantly expanded third edition of this well-known work on the Rosicrucians by Hargrave Jennings, a British Freemason and scholar of Rosicrucian history and comparative religion. Jennings is best recognized for his writings on phallism (phallicism) and its relevance to the origins of all religions. This enlarged edition includes the prefaces for the first, second, and third editions.
Condition: Publishers blue cloth boards, gilt title to spine and cross design to cover of each volume, volume 1 with bookplate to ffep, spine darkened and a little dull on volume 1, volume two with darkened stain to rear board, head and tail of each volume with frayed, binding is firm on both volumes, pages are clean, overall still in very good minus condition
