The Mystic Rose An Occult Periodical has been produced in homage to the various esoteric periodicals published in the early twentieth century, throughout the United States and Europe. Key esoteric periodicals such as The Occult Review, Lucifer, The Quest, The Path, and The All-Seeing Eye are just a few of the significant publications from which we have drawn inspiration. The periodical will focus on an array of esoteric subjects.
Each release will contain at least one Classic Esoteric Reprint from these historic publications; along with an array of contributions from the author/editor Ernest J. Rose [Proprietor of The Rose Books & Obscurities].
The Mystic Rose will appear periodicallyl,each year, during the Vernal and Autumnal Equinoxes. It will be available exclusively in physical form with limited numbers to each volume.
In this first issue we have selected to reprint Manly P. Halls “The Mystical Figures of Jakob Boehme” with rescanned full color illustrations, and a short introduction. The article first appeared in Hall’s esoteric periodical Horizon Journal in 1948.
Also included are new contributions by author Ernest J. Rose. Including an essay titled “Unio Mystica: The Mystic Experience on The Path Toward Divine Union” being an examination of the personal mystic experience as it relates to the internal revelations of inner initiation.
