Two rare issues of theosophical Mercury Magazine ( Vol. III, No. 7 March 1897 and No. 8 April 1897 ) Published in San Francisco under the editorship of William John Walters, Mercury was an early American Theosophical journal devoted to “The Study of Theosophy, Oriental Philosophy, the Occult Sciences and the Brotherhood of Man.” Issued during the formative years of the American Theosophical movement, the magazine survives far less frequently than many contemporary Theosophical publications and is rarely encountered.
Condition: foxing to the covers and marginal papersloss along the spine, overall in Very Good condition
