The Road to Immortality. An uncommon California metaphysical work published by the Esoteric Publishing Company of Applegate, California, in 1898. Written under the name “Brother Paul,” (pseud.) the work explores spiritual evolution, reincarnation, the immortality of the soul, and humanity's progression toward higher states of consciousness. The pamphet was issued under the publishing arm of the Esoteric Fraternity founded by Hiram Erastus Butler—some collectors have speculated that "Brother Paul" may have been a member of Butler's circle or even a house pseudonym used within the organization, but I am not aware of evidence that definitively identifies the author.
