This first U.K. edition was publishedin 1936, just one year after the first American edition was issued in New York [1935]. At the time, Steiner’s works were just beginning to get systematic translation into English. The eleven lectures in this book were presented in Dornach in 1924, where Steiner warned against trance and mediumship and urged a fully conscious, disciplined path to genuine spiritual knowledge.
Condition: Publishers cloth boards, gilt title to spine, dust jacket is present but with significant tears (see photo), edges with foxing, the book is tightly bound, pages are clean, overall in Very Good condition
