Edited with an Introduction by Israel Regardie. This is a compendium of selections from the 4,000+ pages of the ten numbers of the first volume of The Equinox, and is supplemented by papers from other sources. The Equinox was a periodical that served as the official organ of the A∴A∴, a magical order founded by Aleister Crowley , the material is often of import to its sister organization, Ordo Templi Orientis. The Equinox began publication in 1909, it mainly featured articles about occultism, and magic, while several issues also contained poetry, fiction, plays, artwork, and biographies.
Condition: Original black glossy boards decorated in gold throughout the front, back and spine, the first blank leaf and preface page have some spotting, pages are clean of any markings, corners bumped, some shelf wear. Overall Very Good condition.
