biography of Jetsun Milarepa , student of Marpa (Marpa the Translator) and one of the most famous Tibetan yogis and poets, renowned for his literary works: the "Songs of Milarepas" and his role in the history of the Bka'-brgyud school of Tibetan Buddhism. The translation is by Kazi Dawa Samdup (Kazi zla-ba bsam-'grub, 1868-1922) who also supplied translations for Alexandra David-Neel and Sir John Woodroffe.
Condition: Original gilt-decorated green cloth boards, all pages are clean with no markings, dust jacket is also present with some minor tears, Overall the book is very well preserved and in wonderful condition. Very Good+
