A rare elephant folio measuring 19" x 13" inches contianing three large format full color prints from the oil paintings of Armenian artist Mihran K. Serailian; The Opening of the Third Eye, The Seven Spinal Chakras and A Synthetic Emblematic Cross. The theme of the symbolic cross was designed under the direction of Manly P. Hall in direct colllaboration with Serailian in the Summer of 1923. Soon after the design of the cross was completed the cross was reproduced in diamonds, platinum, gold and enamel, and was presented to Mr. Hall by his Los Angeles congreration.
"This cross was given to Walter Stewart, who was Manly P. Hall's last ministerial student in the Church of the People, and is currently protected by CIRCES International and the Ordre Souverain du Temple Initiatique on behalf of the Church of the People. An oil painting was made of this cross by Armenian artist Mihran K. Serailian and then made into posters by the Philosophical Research Society in 1962. The cross is made of diamonds, platinum, gold, and enamel."
