Dissertations on the Prophecies which have remarkably been fulfilled, and at this time are fulfilling in the World by Thomas Newton
Publication: J.F. Dove [undated but printed in 1890]

The author’s intentions can be found in the opening introduction: “A work of this kind was desired by Lord Bacon in his Advancement of Learning, and entitled it ‘The History of Prophecy.’ He would have every prophecy of Scripture sorted with the events fulfilling the same throughout the ages of the world, both for the better confirmation of faith and for the better illumination of the church, touching those parts of prophecy which are yet unfulfilled.”
