Hijacked by Pancho Aguila

Publishing: 1976, Twowindows Press; Berkeley. First edition, self-published, limited to 350.

The author, Pancho Aguila, became active as a poet while incarcerated after a 1969 conviction in California, publishing his work through various small presses. This edition is one of only 350 copies printed by Twowindows Press in Berkeley. Writing as Pancho Aguila, Solis occupied a niche corner of West Coast underground and prison literature; small-press, limited edition titles that were often overlooked at the time. The Netflix docuseries Heist devotes its first episode to the 1993 robbery involving Roberto Solis (aka Pancho Aguila), a case notable because he remains at large.
