Publication:[Light on the Path] 1936 The Theosophical Publishing Company Third Printing [A Cry from Afar] 1954 The Theosophical Publishing House Third Printing
"One of the most significant works in Theosophical literature, this book is believed to be very old. The text was dictated by the astral figure of Master Hilarion, an adept described by Blavatsky as a member of 'the Brotherhood of our Masters.' It was conveyed to Mabel Collins (1851-1927), a young member of the London Lodge of the Theosophical Society who collaborated with Madame Blavatsky in editing the Theosophical journal, 'Lucifer.' Collins received the text between October and December of 1884, and it was subsequently published in January 1885. The book also includes an essay on Karma.
Additionally, we have included a supplementary book titled 'A Cry from Afar,' which contains further commentary on 'Light on the Path' by Collins herself.
Condition: Light on the path is a bright copy in clean condition, gilt title to spine and cover, still in the scarce dust jacket, the supplementary book 'A Cry from Afar' contains a pen inscription to the prelim, otherwise in good condition.
