This rare work was part of 3-part series titled Threads of Life series published in 1924 by Pierson Worrall Banning. Each volume is complete in itself. This esoteric work focuses on several aspects of the esoteric explorations ancient past, particularly that of the 'Root' race from Atlantis, the author attempts to back his claims through archeological observations. The author writes " it is a history of the world, written in a new form, how it came into existence, and the cataclysms, catastrophes, and great world changes that have come to it in past ages. As far as possible it is a scientific statement regarding future cataclysms, "how and when will the world end?"
Contents include: What Thomas Edison Said, First Root Race, Third Continent Lemuria, Atlantis, Fourth Root Race Atlantis, End of the World, Future continents of "Numerica" and "Nulantis" etc. etc.
Banning was a controversial figure in the world of alternative medicine, once receiving criticism from the medical community for his book "Mental and Spiritual Healing: All Schools and Methods; A Text Book for Physicians and Metaphysicians."
Condition: Publishers hunter green cloth boards, gilt title to spine and upper board with doctorate thread of life design tooling, black and white map and illustrations, bottom upper corner exposed, spine ends turned in, small ownership inscription to paste down, pages clean with no markings, binding tight and firm, overall in Ver Good condition. RARE!
