Man Whence, How and Whither by Annie Besant and C.W. Leadbeater
Publication: 1922 Theosophical Publishing House 2nd Edition
The Second Edition of this important work in which Besant, relying on information from Leadbeater obtained by "astral clairvoyance", further develops Blavatsky's cosmological theory that Root Races are stages in human evolution.
The controversial author, Charles Webster Leadbeater (1854-1934), was a prominent, if controversial, member of the Theosophical Society, co-founder of the Liberal Catholic Church, and author of many books on Theosophy and various aspects of occultism.
