Two volumes complete, original red cloth, color fold out plates on the front of each of the volumes, two additional b&w foldouts and many other illustrations, this edition is the less common edition with the decorative gold plates on the front boards, gilt hieroglyph, title, and publisher on the spine, a very large set volumes measuring over 10” in height, top edge gilt, the books are exeptinally nice and not often found in this condition;  bright red, gilt bright, binding tight, all pages clean with no markings, Near Fine.
