Dr. A. S. Raleigh served as the ‘Official Scribe’ for a group known as the Hermetic Brotherhood, where he was also referred to as the ‘Hierophant of the Mysteries of Isis.’ The Stanzas of Dyzan, which is the foundational text of theosophy, is believed to have roots in the ancient Tibetan tradition. Helena Petrovna Blavatsky’s The Secret Doctrine (1888) claims to be based on these stanzas, providing a cosmological and spiritual framework that has influenced various esoteric and occult traditions. In the first part of his work, Raleigh expands on these stanzas, while the second part, titled “Theogenesis: The Foundation of Hermetic Philosophy” offers an interpretation that aligns with Hermetic philosophy of the Atlantean, Maya, Akkadian, Chaldean, Egyptian, and Persian traditions.
