Very little is know about the author. Holden E. Sampson was a prolific writer of books on mysticism and Biblical interpretation and mysticism. Other notable works include "Theou Sophia, Elucidating the Science and Philosophy of the Divine Mysteries (1918); "The True Mystic: Three Lectures on Mysticism" (1914) and " 'Ek-Klesia' - A Compilation, Embodying Teaching, Correction, and Direction" (1919), along with the present work. According to the author this work presents "the solution to the problems of life in its scientific and philosophical aspect." This title was followed by "Creative Redemption" (1909), also in two volumes.
