The Apocalypse Unsealed by James M. Pryse
Publication: 1931 John M. Watkins Fourth Edition
Pryse felt that the text of the new testament, and more particularly the Gospels, had been deliberately corrupted, with the introduction of plagiarisms of Greek sacred poetry and mystery plays, Jewish philosophy, etc. during early Christian times and thus he wrote and published works that he felt might rectify the error including this title; "The Apocalypse Unsealed"
"The biblical Book of Revelation is not a cryptic history or prophecy, as is generally believed, but is, in fact, a manual of spiritual development. So explains theosophist James M. Pryse in this 1919 work, which seeks to uncover the hidden significance of the most misunderstood section of the Bible and reinterpret it from a modern theosophical perspective"
