The Confessions of Jacob Boehme
Publication: 1954 Methuen London; Second Edition
a compilation of scattered passages written down by the mystic Jacob Boehme as he was experiences mystical exaltation. In this tiny volume you’ll find an alluring, almost poetic compilation of those afflictions experienced by Boehme in the process of authoring some of his more notable works. Afflictions in the sense that Boehme often had a hard time understanding those forces that were working through him. It is without intention that Boehme, through these obscure passages, left behind almost a complete history of his great mind and spiritual experience.
