The Eternal Poles by Claude Bragdon
'Publication: 1931 Alfred A Knopf First Edition
Claude Fayette Bragdon (1866 - 1946) the American architect, author, and stage designer. Bragdon wrote a number of books on spiritual topics, including Eastern religions and reincarnation, and advocated a theosophical approach to building design, urging an "organic" Gothic style which he believed consistent with "natural order" - over the "arranged" Beaux-Arts architecture of the classical revival. Much of Bragdon's work would now be considered the early steps of the modern study of "sacred geometry."
