Signed privately printed pamphlet of the Genesis of Speculative Masonry - this pamphlet was originally released exclusively for private circulation. Certain elements from the pamphlet were released in the author’s trade edition with a similar title, “The Genesis of Freemasonry,” but the full contents of this pamphlet were never made available for public circulation.

Douglas Knoop (1883-1948) was a professor at Sheffield University and wrote numerous books on Freemasonry.

Condition: publishers original wrappers, signed by the author "Douglas Knoop" on the title page to "Ernest Finch" who also signed the cover, a very well preserved copy in Very Good condition
