Originally published in 1922 this is what Manly Hall referred to as his "First Literary effort" He describes it as "an essay on the mystery of fire" touching upon its role in initiation, alchemy, ancient Egyptian initiates, Rosicrucianism, the Knights of the Grail, etc.
Condition: Quarter black cloth with patterned papered boards, gilt titling to spine, color frontis and b&w illustrations by J. Augustus Knapp, some slight bumping to the corners, gilt is bright, bookplate present, all pages are clean with no markings, overall in Near Fine condition.
