This edition is part of the scarce editions that still contains the original title "The Lost Keys of Masonry" before the name was changed on subsequent publications to "The Lost Keys of Freemasonry" this edition was printed in monochrome style text and plates throughout. These early editions are also unique for containing 'The Emerald Tablet of Hermes' plate in an emerald green. There is a 3 page advertisement bound to the back which promotes Halls master work; The Secret Teachings of all ages with a detailed explanation to the intricacies of the innovative publication.
One of Manly P Halls best selling early works. Manly Hall was incredibly advanced in degree and teaching of Free Masonry. So much so that he was initiated as an honorary 33° Master Mason. Raised at the Scottish Rite ‘Jewel Lodge’ in San Francisco in 1954.
Condition: Original faux leather texured paper boards with gilt title to front, all pages remain clean, scuffing around the spine edges, these editions were meant as small portable editions meant to be easily carried around. Hence they're exceedingly difficult to find in good condition. Overall the book is in Very Good condition
