These editions were published as a trilogy in the UK & US in consecutive years from 1973-1975. The series entitled "The Hermetic Tradition" series represents a fitting memorial to Eliphas Levi, who - in the words of W.N. Schors "has been both the keeper of the hermetic tradition and the absolute renovator of esoteric thinking on the continent during the 19th century"
Condition: All three volumes are bound in original black cloth with gilt title to spine, all dust jackets are in wonderful condition with the exception of one flaw; volume three two inch tear on the top but still fully in tact, dust jackets remain unclipped, these are bright crisp that look as if they were printed yesterday. All three volumes are in Fine condition.
Note: all three volumes contain the Weiser publishers imprint on the spine and dust jacket. It is not so easy to find a set in uniformly Fine condition as these sets are typically pieced together through different sources. This particular set derives from a private collection in which these books were purchased in the 1970s and have remained stored together ever since.
