An important collection of works by Thomas Vaughan (1621-1666) was a Welsh born alchemist, cabalist and magician, who wrote a number of important magical and alchemical texts under the name of "Eugenius Philalethes." He died young, some sources suggest as the consequence of a failed alchemical experiment. He is recognized by the O.T.O. connected Ecclesia Gnostica Catholica as one of their Saints. A scarce book rarely found in better condition due to the color and fine linen of the binding.
Condition: publishers white fine linen cloth, soiled spine and boards, spine edges with tears, corners bumped,the interior of the book is in wonderful condition with no markings, overall Very Good condition.
