The More Abundant Life or Bio-Psycho-Genetics by William Marcus Taylor

Publication: 1924 The Taylor School of Bio-Psychology First Edition an association copy signed "Compliments of Mrs. William Marcus Taylor" the authors wife.

The author Dr. William Marcus Taylor was the founder and president of The Taylor School of Bio-Psychology. Taylor became intertested in the study of biology and psychology, and during the thirty-year interval he became familiar with the recognized works and authors of these and the affiliated sciences in the world. Out of this vast storehouse of research, he accumulated and fitted together all the harmonious principles known to all Schools of biology and psychology, and to this new. resynthesized science he gave the name "Bio-Psychology." The present work covers a diverse, and rather fascinating, set of contents; Genetic Principles in Magnetism, The Metaphysical Basis of Bio-Genetics, The Genetic Growth of Consciousness, The Genetically Active Ego-Consciousness, The Bio-Psycho-Genetic Work of Dreams, Kinds of Dreams, Moral Value of Dreams, Dream Stimuli, Mechanism of Dreams, etc, etc.

The book has two interesting associations, the first is Taylors wife who has inscribed her compliments on the flyleaf. The second is stamped in gilt on the upper board by Franz Schneider, Ph.D.- a professor from Berkeley who was an impassioned and outspoken educational reformer.

Condition: publishers green cloth boards, gilt title to spine and upper board, signed on the flyleaf by "Mrs. William Marcus Taylor" presumably Taylors spouse, three pages on the preface are underlined albeit these seem to be in the same pen as the signature on the flyleaf, therefore Mrs. William Marcus Taylor, overall in Near Fine condition.
