Publication: 1959 University Press - First Edition Thus 

This is the first University Press edition containing the 78 color illustrations. Only the first two printings of this edition contain the color illustrations. The enormous contribution to the Waite legacy by University Books, Inc. this edition has two unique attributes that were lacking in the first printing (I've identified this as a second print) an 8-page catalog of University Press books titled 'Library of the Mystic Arts' bound to the rear of the books, and an introduction page titled "Waits Last Word on The Tarot' which was replaced by the original 'Publishers Preface' of the first printing.For the record, they list only three printings. I have found four, with only the first two printing containing the color illustrations; make of it what you will. 

Condition: Original boards with gilt title to spine, dust jacket still present and also in wonderful condition, green end papers, all pages clean with no markings, overall in Fine Condition
