The work delves into the parallels between Freemasonry and the religions and philosophical traditions of ancient civilizations.
The second work, titled “Origin and Early History of Freemasonry” by Godfrey W. Steinbrenner, was originally published in 1868. This book provides an in-depth examination of the origins of the Masonic fraternity, tracing its roots from ancient operative masonry to its evolution into a speculative society. Very scarce in any edition.
