A.E. Waite's translation o Eliphas Levi's notable "Transcendental Magic." Dr. R. A. Gilbert observes that Waite had been unable to provide a fully annotated translation of the text in his original publication of the work in 1896 , but did so for the 1923 edition (of which this is a reprint) "The annotations are extensive, for Waite had worked on them sporadically for seven years."
Condition: Publishers gloss black cloth boards, gilt title to spine, inscription to flyleaf, text pages clean with no markings, only very slight bump to upper corner, dust jacket is clipped but has another price that looks to have been stamped, dust jacket is in great condition and protected in mylar, overall Near Fine.
