Ruth B. Drown (1891–1963) was a Los Angeles chiropractor who became a controversial figure in the field of radionics. She created her own system known as “Drown Radio Therapy,” through which she claimed to diagnose and treat illness at a distance using specialized instruments and blood samples. Her methods eventually drew federal attention leading to prosecution in the 1950s.
