Occultism Simplified or The Mystic Thesaurus by Willis F. Whitehead
Publication: 1946 The Charles T. Powner Company
Willis F. Whitehead (1854 - 1922) presented himself as the Supreme Grand Vizier of an occult group called the Ancient Order of Oriental Magi. He was also likely the founder of the Royal Adepts of Mysticism.
He published a version of Agrippa’s “Three Books of Occult Philosophy or Magic” in 1898 and several editions of “The Mystic Thesaurus” starting in 1899. The 1921 edition covers various topics, including the cross symbol, thought telegraphy, mind radiation, endless evolution, the “lost omnific word,” the tarot of the Bohemians, the Clavicle of Solomon, and an “English Cabala of Correspondences.” It also provides instructions for creating and magnetizing a magic mirror and tips for communicating with “celestial companions.”
