Scarce early printing of the first major publication by Helena Petrovna Blavatsky. Isis Unveiled became one of the foundational texts in the whole of Theosophy. The work has been highly influential on the Western esoteric and magical traditions in general.
Condition: Publishers cloth boards with decorative gilt spine, floral endpapers, spine ends turned in, crease along front board of volume one, time period inscription to front free endpaper, edges with spotting and some stains but does not permeate - this text unaffected, moderate to heavy foxing on the title page and portrait of volume one, occasional foxing throughout both volumes, overall the set is still in Very Good condition
