Spirit Identity By M.A. Oxon (Moises Stainton)
Publication: 1902 London Spiritualist Alliance, Ltd. Second Edition
Often misidentified as a First Edition, this is in fact a Second Edition, originally published in 1879. Title-page states that the pseudonymous author also penned the book "Psychography." A volume now known to be by William Stainton Moses (1839-1892), an English clergyman and spiritualist. Moses was a highly respected figure, who claimed a number of clairvoyant and psychical experiences, who was best known for his 'automatic scripts,' received via direct communication from a band of 'spirits,' between 1872 and 1883. These communications were discussed in this book and also in his 'Spirit Teachings'.
